  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 large egg or 2 regular ones
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1

  • In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth.

Step 2

  • Add Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well until the ingredients are combined and a smooth mixture is formed.
