Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar for coating
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Heat water, sugar, and butter in a saucepan until melted.
  2. Add flour and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Cool slightly, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Pipe dough into hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown.
  6. Coat warm churros with cinnamon sugar.
  7. Serve with chocolate sauce.
