Method
- Puree strawberries with lemon juice and half the sugar. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix cream, milk, vanilla, and remaining sugar.
- Combine the strawberry mixture with the cream base.
- Chill the mix for at least 2 hours.
- Churn in an ice cream maker for 20–30 minutes.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for 4 hours before serving.
