Costa Rican Tea Recipe for Weight Loss

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 stalk of fresh lemongrass or 1 tablespoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger slices
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon chamomile flowers
  • A few fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon honey or stevia optional, for sweetness
  • Lemon wedge optional, for brightness

Method
 

  1. Boil the water in a small pot.
  2. Add lemongrass, ginger, and cinnamon. Let them simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. After removing from the heat, stir in chamomile and mint. Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Strain into a mug. Add honey or lemon if desired.

Notes
